Overview

PulseControl brings financial events from many systems into one normalized record, compares expected and actual events, raises exceptions and provides a workspace to resolve them. It is organized in three layers: PulseConnect, PulseControl and PulseResolve.

Concepts

Core concepts
ConceptDefinition
SourceA connected system that supplies events: a gateway, a bank feed, an ERP ledger, billing or an internal service.
EventA normalized record of something that happened, such as a payment, settlement, credit or posting.
Expected recordWhat should have happened, derived from your systems or a provider report.
MatchAn expected record and an actual event that agree within tolerance and timing rules.
ExceptionA difference that remains after tolerance and timing are applied.
CaseThe workspace for one exception: timeline, evidence, owner, actions and audit trail.

Quickstart

  1. Create a workspace and a scoped API key.
  2. Connect a source, or submit events through the API.
  3. Define expected records, or import a provider settlement report.
  4. Review matches and exceptions in the Command Center.
  5. Register a webhook so exceptions reach your own tools.

Reconciliation rules

Rules decide what is a match, what is timing and what is an exception. They are explicit, can be paused, and each change is recorded in the audit trail.

Ruleillustrative syntax

  "when"  provider.status == "PARTIAL" "and" provider.reason == "HOLD"
